2) lots of MK peeps traveled down to the first dirty shebang!
so..........tommrow night.....
yep PITZ , Sat 9th april/ doors 7:30 - damage is a fiver!!!
ELATION THROUGH SOUND are headlining , we are a five piece , and play post-rock, influenced by the likes of tortoise, mogwai. expect some fretless guitar acrobatics / robot vocals and laptop ambience
DARK HADOU are supporting , and are the tigtest most exciting rock band in this city!!! they play a noisey and cathartic take on math rock. veering between slint like guitar intricacies to bursts of trail of dead -esque noise
EVIL RYU & THE LOST MAGI - will be making their pitz debut. this two piece use decks/samplers/toys/converted gas masks/ anything they can get their hands on to make music with. and by music i mean fuzzed up-ultra-fast walls of d'n'b noise. the only thing scarier than the music is the costumes they wear. BE WARNED the stage show is unpredictable.
northampton rockers CRYSTAL WRISTS will also be joining 3 of mks most experimental bands!
also a few charachters will be djing to make sure an eclectic mix of bands is played over the PA inbetween songs!
ill give it a rest now = but seriosuly if any of you boys can come down to mk - you will be suitably pleased im sure. its just nights like this dont happean often (i.e a gig in milton keynes with good bands playing which isnt a totally DIY affair) -so they need to be supported!!!
