What a let down Conrad's voice just doesn't sound like Conrad. The whole band don't sound like they should. It's all wrong. Though there's a few tracks that are really cool. Caterwaul's alright and All White is really Pink Floyd-y.

trail of dead where dark when i saw em - they literally had to be held back by their roadies from smashing up their kit to complete smitherines (i mean they smashed it good- but it could have got a lot gooder!)
but yeah their new stuff isnt a patch on the old

It is growing on me though. There's one track (the third) which I don't think I could ever get used to but the opening track is just -wow- . I could imagine them doing it live and they're just .... I can't explain it. I just love all the epic orchestral sounds they encorporate into their music.

Haha, I really like it now. It is a bit too different to their last few outings though, in places it feels a bit more polished and they don't quiet get the quiet bits as nailed as on albums like Source Tags & Codes... They do have 2 drummers though
