This has been inspired by the yourcodenameis:milo thread. A general place where you, the postee, can tell us all of the small bands that you love but we have yet to hear. Dictate the future people...

Beecher. Manchester metal/crazy/heavy/screaming/insane band. Not the easiest of listening but they rock. Am going to see them in about a week which should be good. One for those who like the heavier and weirder things in life.

I never know what to feel about beecher, I find them sort of annoying buty et I still listen without a trouble.
Palehorse-Uk Metal Band with two bass guitars, two singers and Ben from Million Dead ;D
The Dukes of Nothing- Insanely cool Metal with high punk influences band
Winnebago Deal-Two Ben's from Oxford. What more could you want?

Palehorse are fantastic. As are the duo known as 'Deal. Not to keen on the Dukes.
Another band i highly recommend, although not as small as others, are Every Time I Die. Fantastically fucked up. Sorta like a pop-art version of punk/metalcore/insane. When you can reference sex, drugs and rock n roll in one line while sounding like the end of the sane world you know something good is going on.

The Modey Lemon are ace, have just ordered their album 'thunder and lighteing' from amazon cos not even the good people at Jumbo records in leeds had heard of them. And i don't think Chikinki get enough publicity, although they;ve just been added to the nme awards thingy, so their on their way up..

You had to resort to amazon? Amazon is my first usually. This is what i get for liking obscure bands and living in a town where the only music shop is one MVC in which i have bought all the good records.
Have heard neither of those bands. If i see stuff i may enquire.
ArmsBendBack. Found them today. MP3's on Kazaa. Kinda like Finch/FFAF/Thursday. Not exactly new but some good tunes and their singer has a good voice.
December. Signed by the guy who runs a porn empire, but not one for pussies *rimshot*. Heavy, fast, loud and angry. But angry in an intelligent, structured and twisty manner.

Amazon has everything! The only stores we have in my town are woolowrths, tesco's and morrisons that sell cd's, then they're only chart ones which is shit.

Amazon does indeed have everything. The problem is that with the wonders of one-click ordering i end up spending way more money than i should. This is especially tough as my status as an unemployed bum seems to be never ending (if anyone who lives in bedford and is willing to give me a paying job please contact me! kthnx).

i downloaded that song. Not too bad. To me it sounded like a fugazi/far/incubus mix. Which is good.
